Flip for Satara

I’m happy to share that Satara carries the Flip cloth diaper system! These are not on their website- they really have a LOT more baby stuff in their store!

I mentioned before that I like to use the disposable inserts designed for the Flip waterproof covers in my Thirsties covers. These are like using a disposable diaper liner that can be tossed, without as much waste as using a regular disposable diaper because you are reusing the cover. This makes using cloth away from home so much easier, as you do not have to carry the soiled cloth back home with you- which is especially not fun on long trips. Also, if you are STILL on the fence about cloth, the Flip system with the disposable inserts would be a good way to get your feet wet!

I can feel it- spring is almost here! I love this weather, where it’s 40 degrees and a foot of snow is still on the ground, but suddenly everyone feels they no longer need a coat. I left mine at home today. Did you?

Valentine’s Day Ideas, Continued

Coming up with new ideas for your sweetheart on Valentine’s Day can be hard. Roses are nice (and jewelry is better!), but sometimes it’s the small, thoughtful, inexpensive ideas that pay off big when it comes time to say “I Love You.”

Over the years, we have used this blog as a way to update our clients and friends about what is happening with the studio and our family. We love when someone mentions a post in our personal conversations with them because we are thrilled to know that people are interested in our on-goings. It hadn’t occurred to us that we were having a monologue, when we should be having a dialogue.
